Pontet Canet

Pontet Canet Since 1995, Château Pontet-Canet has steadily evolved into one of Pauillac’s most distinctive and respected estates. In the market, Pontet-Canet consistently outperforms its Fifth Growth status, often rivalling the Second Growths in quality and market demand. Under the guidance of Alfred Tesseron, it became an early adopter of biodynamic farming, setting it apart within the Médoc. The wines are known for their balance, purity, and refined structure, maturing wines in clay eggs as well as oak. Key vintages such as 2005, 2009, 2010, and 2016 have been widely praised for their depth and ageing potential.
