The 2015 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Roncières 1er Cru has a rather smudged bouquet and plenty of red fruit but little delineation and overly dominant oak. The palate is chewy on the entry. Quite a rustic-styled Nuits Saint-Georges, with good matière if little in the way of finesse on the finish. Maybe time will allow it to become more sophisticated.
