The 2019 Gloria has a compelling nose: black fruit, crushed rocks, tobacco and very subtle marine scents that are all beautifully combined. Perhaps the most precise and delineated nose among an impressive array of Saint-Julien's this year. The palate is medium-bodied with a lively opening. A touch of soy infuses the black fruit; fine-boned with wonderful sapidity on the finish. Extraordinary length. Serious. Score: 96 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2027 - 2060 01 February 2023 |

The 2019 Gloria personifies classic Saint-Julien, offering blackberry, wild hedgerow, cedar and tobacco scents, maybe a little conservative in style, but unashamed about that. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, quite firm tannins. Fresh and saline, this gets the saliva going with a precise, persistent finish and leaves hints of graphite on the aftertaste. Excellent. Score: 94 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2025 - 2050 01 February 2022 |

The 2019 Gloria continues a strong run of form - those rustic Glorias of the 1970s and 1980s are a distant memory. This has a precise and detailed bouquet that offers blackberry, briary, cedar and light tobacco aromas that gently unfurl in the glass. The palate is very well structured with a lovely citric undercurrent lending freshness and sharpness. This is a nimble Saint-Julien, athletic in build with a sapid finish that urges you back for another sip. Excellent. Score: 93 - 95 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2025-2050 01 June 2020 |

So good, this is a vibrant mix of young and exuberant, luxurious, seriously creamy in texture, crushed stone, baked earth, smoked caramel, damson, sweet blackberry and damson fruits. This is pure pleasure, hard to resist. 45% new oak, 40hl/ha yield, harvest September 23 to October 4. Remi di Constanzo technical director. Score: 95 Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2029-2046 04 January 2023 |

Another winning velvety texture out of St Julien. You can trace the warmth and generosity of the vintage in the concentration and the ripeness of these blackberry and raspberry fruits but it is so seductive and carefully balanced with a core of freshness and a ton of crushed stone, black chocolate and baked earth adding layers and interest. This should be good value and is a definite buy. So much character and personality, right up there with the best vintages of this property. 40% new oak, 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Score: 94 Jane Anson, Decanter.com Maturity: 2026-2042 17 May 2020 |

Showing beautifully, with the polished, pure, elegant style of the vintage, the 2019 Château Gloria sports a deeper ruby/purple color as well as great aromatics of cassis and assorted blue fruits to go with smoked tobacco, cedar pencil, damp earth, and floral notes. I love its purity, and it's just a quintessential, medium to full-bodied, layered Saint-Julien that can be drunk today or cellared for a solid two decades. It should be a no-brainer purchase for the wine lovers out there. Score: 95 Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com Maturity: 2022-2042 11 April 2022 |

This estate continues to deliver the goods, and their 2019 Château Gloria is a hands-down winner. Gorgeous crème de cassis fruit as well as notes of cedar pencil, leather, and dried flowers all flow from this medium to full-bodied Saint-Julien, and it's perfectly balanced, has sweet tannins, and a great finish. Count me impressed. It's going to drink well for 20-25 years or more. Score: 94 - 96 Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com Maturity: 2020-2045 30 June 2020 |

The 2019 Gloria has turned out very well, delivering aromas of blackcurrants, plums, burning embers and a deft framing of creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, deep and nicely concentrated, with a vibrant core of ripe and fleshy fruit, lively acids and powdery structuring tannins that assert themselves on the youthfully firm finish, this shows considerable promise. Score: 93 William Kelley, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2027 - 2060 07 April 2022 |

The 2019 Gloria is a powerful, brooding Saint-Julien. Sweet red cherry, iron, dried flowers, menthol, herbs and cedar lend quite a bit of character. In 2019, Gloria is defined by its intensely feral personality and tannins. Perhaps time will help. Today, Gloria does not appear to be quite the charmer that it can be. Score: 91 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com Maturity: 2024 - 2036 01 February 2022 |

The 2019 Gloria is fabulous. A wine of pure and total seduction, Gloria is so wonderfully inviting. A rush of floral, spice and earthy aromatics make a strong first impression. Pliant and racy on the palate, with striking red berry character, Gloria is incredibly alluring. A healthy dollop (34%) of Merlot gives Gloria its soft contours and open-knit personality, especially compared to its sibling, Saint-Pierre, which is much more Cabernet Sauvignon focused. I won't be surprised if Gloria turns out even better than this note suggests. It is one of the best values in Bordeaux. Score: 91 - 93 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com 01 June 2020 |

Sweet berry and cherry aromas with violets, following through to a medium to full body with creamy, linear tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Tight and curated, in a structured way. Try after 2027. Score: 94 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com Maturity: 2027+ 17 January 2022 |

A firm, chewy red with blackberries, earth and hints of chocolate. It’s full-bodied and very structured. Better than the 2018. Score: 94 - 95 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com 20 June 2020 |

Deep purple-black colored, the 2019 Gloria comes bounding out of the glass with all the energy of a new puppy, featuring notes of baked plums, black cherry preserves and warm cassis plus hints of spice box, pencil lead, woodsmoke and dried mint. Medium to full-bodied (the alcohol states 14.2%), the palate is packed with juicy black fruit flavors, framed by approachable, ripe, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing pleasantly earthy.
