Enticing aromatics of red apple and white peach, with a steelier citrus coming through on the mid-palate, along with grilled white pepper and salted cracker. This is an impressive white wine, definitely one to look out for in the vintage. 46hl/h yield, 25% new oak barels for ageing. Harvest September 9 to 21. The 2021 Latour-Martillac Blanc offers an intriguing mix of Sauvignon Blanc-driven vibrancy and Sémillon-inflected mid-palate creaminess. Dried pear, chamomile, mint, citrus peel and white flowers build nicely as this charming, effusive dry white opens with a bit of air. Score: 91 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com Maturity: 2026-2041 27 February 2024 |

The 2021 Latour-Martillac Blanc has a fresh and vibrant nose, crisp and citric with hints of lime and orange rind coming through with aeration. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity, not quite as complex or mineral-driven as I hoped en primeur, but it has an attractive, praline-tinged finish of modest length. Fine. Score: 91 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2026-2040 22 February 2024 |

The 2021 Blanc possesses a fresh, minty bouquet with aromas of white fruits, citrus, herbs and spring flowers, followed by a medium-bodied, satiny and supple palate with a fleshy core of fruit and bright acids and concluding with a saline, long finish. The significant presence of Sémillon grapes ensures a large potential for aging. Score: 92 Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2024-2033 08 February 2024 |

Aromas of citrus oil, crisp orchard fruit and pastry cream introduce the 2021 Latour Martillac Blanc, a medium-bodied, bright and incisive wine that's performing well this year. Score: 89 - 91 William Kelley, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com 29 April 2022 |
