Deep ruby with a good intensity and attractive berry and cherry nose with a hint of cloves and allspice. Medium weight in the middle with ripe Merlot fruit, smooth tannins, a hint of vanilla and a satisfying dry finish. A great easydrinking Right Bank wine from the owners of Chateau Clinet. 100% Merlot Score: - Albany Vintners Maturity: 2022-2027 01 December 2022 |

This shows ripe and plush dark fruit on the nose with hints of baking spices, chocolate and smoke. Soft and polished with medium body and firm tannins. A little hollow in the mid-palate, but delicious. Easy to drink now, yet better after 2023. Score: 89 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com Maturity: 2023+ 24 January 2022 |

An old favourite this, almost pure Merlot (with 5% Cabernet Franc) from the team at the famous Pomerol estate of Château Clinet, using fruit from surrounding Right Bank appellations. It's a brisk red and black-fruited style, focused on fruit and its tannin and acid structure rather than oak. Ther's a touch of leafiness, a little graphite and cedar, but its a relatively firm, chewy and gastronomic Bordeaux of good quality at a very fair price.
