The 2022 Condrieu La Doriane is slightly more reserved and reticent compared to past vintages, offering a terrific perfume of orange blossom, honeyed flowers, and subtle spicy, mineral nuances. Aged nine months in new barrels, it's medium to full-bodied, has a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and terrific mid-palate depth. It will be better in a year or two and drink beautifully through 2032. The fabulous 2022 Condrieu La Doriane unfurls with pronounced quince, apricot, vanilla, yellow apple, lemon peel and cedar aromatics. Spring blossom and melon nuances add more layers. Juicy and layered, there’s terrific inner energy and balance within this outstanding 2022. It is neither fat nor heavy, but instead totally fresh and refined, finishing with stone fruit and floral-driven persistence.
