The 2019 Barolo Cerretta is terrific. Layered and expansive, yet also medium in body, the Cerretta is a fine effort from this Serralunga vineyard, where wines tend to be a bit more accessible than they are in other parts of the village. Succulent red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint, sweet spice and wild flowers abound. This is very nicely done. Score: 93 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com Maturity: 1/9/23 01 September 2023 |
