Medium to deep garnet colored, the 2009 Belgrave gives up baked cherries, mulberries, stewed plums and forest floor scents with camphor and spice box nuances. Medium to full-bodied, soft and fleshy on the palate, it has a spicy/raisin cake finish. Score: 89 Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2019-2025 14 March 2019 |

Shows the ripeness of the vintage, featuring sleek linzer torte and plum confiture flavors laced with mouthwatering spice and sweet tobacco notes. This has well-integrated toast and a very racy finish. Drink now through 2015. Score: 90 James Molesworth, Wine Spectator Maturity: 2012-2015 31 March 2012 |

Elegant raspberry, red and black currant, and earthy, loamy underbrush and soil tones make for a very attractive and fragrant bouquet. This ripe, medium to full-bodied wine should drink well for 10-15+ years. Score: 89 Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2012-2027 01 March 2012 |

One of the more obscure classified growths of the 1855 classification, the Dourthe firm continues to make improvements here, and this may well turn out to be the best wine they have produced. Dense purple, with notes of red and black fruits, charcoal, graphite, and spice, the wine is deep and has terrific purity, full-bodied texture, and a fleshy, long, round mouthfeel with well-integrated tannins. It should drink well for 20 or more years. ( 88-90+ Points) Score: 88 - 90 Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, RobertParker.com Maturity: 2010-2030 01 April 2010 |

A wine, with sliced plum and lemon character and hints of lemon grass on the nose and palate. Medium-to-full body, with fresh acidity and a clean finish. Try after 2016. Score: 90 James Suckling, - Maturity: 2016+ 15 February 2012 |

Very dark purple. Attractive freshness on the nose. Very lively and very polished. What’s not to like if you’re looking for a relatively easily maturing good value claret? Score: 16 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com Maturity: 2015-2023 07 April 2010 |
