Rich and deep, cocoa bean, slate and espresso, so intense that you have to look twice to see that it is a 2nd wine. Tannins layer up through the palate, not drying but certainly chewy and firm, with lashings of blackberry and cassis fruit, held in place by espresso-laced tannins. Mix of new and one year old barrels for ageing, 3.63ph. Out to impress. Score: 92 Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux Maturity: 2028-2040 Date: 02 May 2024 |

The 2023 Echo de Lynch-Bages is a potent second wine. It’s really the Cabernets that drive the wine's flavor profile and overall feel. The Echo is not as juicy or succulent as it can be, rather it is a wine that will need a year or two post-release to show at its best. Score: 90 - 92 Antonio Galloni, Vinous.com Maturity: 2027-2043 Date: 30 April 2024 |

The 2023 Echo de Lynch-Bages has a high-toned bouquet of cassis and floral notes that will appeal to those seeking a more hedonistic Pauillac in this vintage. The palate is medium-bodied and fleshy with succulent tannins and a cashmere-like mouthfeel. The finish is ripe and quite long. Drink it over the next six to eight years. Score: 88 - 90 Neal Martin, Vinous.com Maturity: 2026-2036 Date: 29 April 2024 |

A balance of blackberry, chocolate and stone with a medium body, creamy texture and a soft finish. The length and depth are very pretty, while the juicy, velvety tannins are so attractive. Score: 92 - 93 James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com Date: 24 April 2024 |
