Chateau Leoville Lascases released

Some compelling releases to begin the campaign including a large price discount from Leoville Las Cases. We said the big releases would come early and fast and this morning we have Chateau Leoville Las Cases straight out of the gate.

Leoville Las Cases 2023 - released at £831 per 6 this is a 40% reduction on the first release price from last year, making it the lowest release price since the 2015.  Bordering Chateau Latour this great terroir with very old vines has yielded wines of stunning quality, especially since 2016, rivalling the First Growths.  The 2023 is classically styled and and very serious and structured.  "a worthy follow-up to the magnificent 2022, but it will demand patience."-95-97 NM. 98 Jane Anson

Clos du Marquis comes from a separate plot next to Las Cases and was well liked by Neal this year; 91-93 NM "a mélange of red and black fruit, cedar and subtle touches of violet—very charming"  - £231 per 6.
