Chateaux Lafite Rothschild + Carruades, Duhart Milon, Evangile released

Following a brief sojourn for Labor Day in France, there is big release news this morning:

Chateau Lafite Rothschild is released at £2,460 per 6, making it the cheapest available vintage, & a good deal, especially for a classic vintage that comes highly-rated by the critics (98-100 JA, 97-99 WA, 97-99 LPB).  "The finest of the First Growths this year appears to be the 2023 Lafite Rothschild" - Wine Advocate.  Limited Quantity.

Lafite's popular second wine, Carruades de Lafite, is offered at £930 per 6, significantly cheaper than available vintages. We have a small number of additional cases to offer this year. 

Chateau Duhart Milon (94-96 NM) is offered at £342 per 6, an "excellent", structured and long-lived Classed Growth Pauillac that impresses in 2023, and is priced a fraction below their 2022.

From the heart of the Pomerol plateau, Chateau l'Evangile is haute couture Pomerol from the Rothschilds, and is very fine indeed in 2023.  94-96 NM "a lovely L'Évangile that deserves five or six years in bottle. It will be worth the wait. "  £948 per 6
